Request for Proposal: Website Architect
The National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development (The National Center) seeks proposals from experienced website architects to overhaul our existing website for the upcoming fiscal year.
Objective:
Our ambition for the new website includes:
– Providing a seamless user experience with easy navigation and an intuitive layout.
– Ensuring a design that resonates with our organization’s branding.
– Migrating all existing content from our current and previous site.
– Assisting in creating, editing, or sourcing fresh content.
– Implementing an updated SEO strategy.
– Delivering a training module to equip our staff to manage and update the website.
– Proposing an exit strategy.
– Providing a budgetary outline for website creation and regular maintenance (exclusive of hosting).
Scope of Work:
1. Website Design:
– Craft a design that is in line with the client’s branding and is visually compelling.
– Ensure a responsive layout for optimal performance across devices and screen resolutions. – Embed UI and UX best practices.
2. Technical Development:
– Build the website using the most suitable technologies and platforms.
– Integrate essential features like contact forms, payment transactions, and search functionality. – Assure adherence to web standards and accessibility benchmarks.
3. SEO Optimization:
– Execute on-page SEO techniques, including meta tags, headers, and keywords. – Employ SEO best practices for enhanced search visibility.
4. Testing and Quality Assurance:
– Undertake rigorous testing to flag and rectify any glitches. – Test for cross-browser and multi-device compatibility.
– Confirm rapid page loading times.
5. Training and Documentation*
– Train the client’s staff on website upkeep and content management.
– Generate detailed documentation explaining the website’s architecture and functionalities
6. Post-launch Support:
– Extend post-launch support for a specified duration.
– Embed security protocols to safeguard against potential cyber threats.
