The webinar will help participants better understand the steps for successful energy project development and how the array of DOE and DOI programs, working with the private sector, can help Indian tribes and tribal entities pursue development of energy resources and tribal economic growth. · John Lushetsky, Senior Advisor, Department of Energy, Loan Programs Office

Mr. Lushetsky is a Senior Advisor to the Executive Director for the Department of Energy’s Loan Programs Office where he is responsible for leading and advising on outreach initiatives to leverage the program’s $40 billion in lending capacity for energy projects.

· Doug Schultz, Director, Loan Origination, Department of Energy, Loan Programs Office

Mr. Schultz is the Director of Loan Guarantee Origination for the Department of Energy’s Loan Programs Office where he leads LPO’s lending activities focused on innovative alternative energy projects in the U.S. including solar, wind, geothermal, biofuels, clean fossil, nuclear, and the related transmission and extraction infrastructure.

· Tweedie Doe, Project Officer, Department of Energy, Office of Indian Energy

Tweedie is a Project Officer with the U.S. Department of Energy Office of Indian Energy Policy and Programs, and administers financial assistance awards to Indian tribes, Alaska Native villages, and tribal and inter-tribal organizations.

· Steve Manydeeds, Branch Chief, Department of Interior, Office of Indian Energy and Economic Development, Division of Energy and Mineral Development Mr. Manydeeds leads the Department’s Division of Energy and Mineral Development to provide the best possible technical and economic advice and services in assisting tribes to achieve economic self-sufficiency by creating sustainable economies through the environmentally sound development of their energy and mineral resources. Mr. Manydeeds is an enrolled member of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe.

· Jake Good, Vice-President, Power, Energy & Utilities Division, CoBank

Mr. Good responsibilities include working to provide a variety of debt financing options to Generation & Transmission companies and Investor Owned Utilities in the Midwest and Northwest parts of the country including Alaska. CoBank has committed over $13B to date in this sector.

· Mike Lettig, National Executive, Native American Financial Services, KeyBank

Mr. Lettig has national responsibility for developing and maintaining KeyBank’s relationships with Native American communities to help them meet their goals through customized financial solutions covering infrastructure, gaming and hospitality, renewable energy, natural resources and agribusiness.
