The National Center’s RES Arizona was held October 22nd – 24th, 2013 at the Wild Horse Pass Hotel and Casino in Chandler, Arizona with the Gila River Indian Community and Chukchansi, Inc. serving as Presenting sponsors. RES Arizona featured the RES Arizona Golf Tournament which was held at the beautiful and award-winning Whirlwind Golf Resort.
RES Arizona included respected tribal leaders, state and local elected officials, top CEO’s, the National Center’s “Twenty Grand Business Plan Competition”, the 38th Annual Indian Progress in Business (INPRO) Awards multiple networking opportunities, a leadership seminar, teaming opportunities, a business development expo and business trade show, the 5th Annual “Native American 40 Under 40″ Awards, an American Indian art market, Tribal Business Leaders Forum and much more.
RES Arizona premiered the NCAIED’s “Twenty Grand Business Plan Competition” wherein both “start up” and “established” Native American businesses (wholly owned by an enrolled member of any State or Federally recognized Tribal Nation, Alaska Native or Canadian First Nations), from across North America, competed for the chance to win a $20,000 cash award from the NCAIED by attending and presentingtheir company’s business plan at RES Arizona to a panel of respected and accomplished entrepreneurs and business leaders who served as judges of the competition. The business plans will be judged based on Business Structure, Financial Viability, Personal Abilities, Business Experience and Quality of the Plan. The winning company was Neechie Gear whose business plan was presented by Mr. Kendal Netmaker.
