2013 Indian Progress in Business (INPRO) Awards Gala
The annual Indian Progress in Business Awards (INPRO) is presented by the National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development. In 2013, INPRO is being held simultaneous with RES ARIZONA and includes the INPRO Awards Gala which will be held at the Wild Horse Pass Hotel & Casino. The INPRO Awards Gala is the oldest and most prestigious Native American recognition event acknowledging accomplishments and contributions made by American Indians and those who support their economic and business development endeavors. Highlights of the awards banquet includes the presentation of Business Leadership Awards, American Indian Business Scholarship Awards and our annual “Native American 40 under 40″ awards.
The 2013 INPRO Award winners are:
• Jay Silverheels Achievement Award: Denis Turner, Southern Tribal Chairmen’s Association
• First American Corporate Leadership: Kari McCormick, Kitchell Construction
• First American Entrepreneurship: David Beaver, Titan Facility Services
Also at INPRO, over $22,000 worth of scholarship awards will be given to deserving American Indian undergraduate or graduate students majoring in business will be presented this year at the NCAIED’s American Indian Business Scholarship awards. These hand selected recipients have demonstrated a commitment to pursuing excellence in academics and also giving back to the American Indian community.
The 2013 class of 40 emerging leaders in Indian Country will also be be recognized at our, “Native American 40 Under 40 Awards”. This very special awards recognition highlights 40 emerging American Indian leaders under 40 years of age who have demonstrated leadership, initiative and dedication to achieve impressive and significant contributions in their businesses, communities and to Indian Country. With the honoring of this year’s class of “40 under 40″ – the total number of “40 under 40″ recipients recognized will rise to 200.
