First American Leadership Awards (FALA)

The First American Leadership Awards (FALA), historically held in the southwest, will be a large component of the Indian Progress in Business (INPRO 2009) event, giving NCAIED the chance to recognize the movers and shakers of economic development within native communities. The FALA awards will be presented at the INPRO 2009 Awards Banquet.
Hosted by the National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development (NCAIED), the INPRO 2009 awards banquet is the oldest and most prestigious Native American recognition event honoring natives and businesses that support business development across Indian Country. One of the highlights of the awards banquet is the presentation of scholarship awards presented to top American Indian undergraduate or graduate students majoring in business who have demonstrated a commitment to giving back to the American Indian community. Additionally, a portion of the proceeds raised support the mission of the National Center (ncaied.org).
