American Indian Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (AIPTAC)The American Indian Procurement Technical Assistance Centers are operated through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Department of Defense, Defense Logistics Agency. The goal of the AIPTACs is to provide contract identification and procurement assistance to reservation based American Indian owned businesses and tribal enterprises throughout the United States where our program operates. The AIPTACs provide American Indian clients an understanding of government contracting and the know-how to obtain and successfully perform federal, state and local government contracts. At no cost, we provide a wide range of assistance from initial registrations through contract completion. Services include bid matching, technical assistance, resource and reference information, and marketing assistance to ensure success in selling goods and services to government agencies and prime contractors. The National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development (NCAIED) operates five American Indian Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (AIPTAC). The five AIPTACs are:
MPSP is a program of NCAIED’s headquarter office located in Mesa, Arizona. NWAID, PAID, PLAINS and UIDA are all supporting non-profit programs of NCAIED and are located in Lynnwood, WA; El Segundo, CA; Denver, CO and Marietta, GA respectively. The AIPTACs assist for-profit established businesses that are at least 51% Indian owned or tribally owned and located on or close to a reservation. We have qualified staff with experience in government contracting, marketing, sales, and business development operating the AIPTAC programs. Our staff are also members of the professional organization: Association of Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (APTAC). Through our nationwide network of American Indian Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (AIPTAC) we provide fast, reliable, cost-effective service for government.
