NCAIED Scholarships
AMERICAN INDIAN FELLOWSHIP IN BUSINESS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
SCHOLARSHIP ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
• Must be a Business Major
• Must be a Junior, Senior or Graduate
• Must be enrolled as a full-time student
• Must be enrolled at an accredited post-secondary institution of higher education
• Must have an official document of Tribal Enrollment (American Indian or Alaskan Native)
• If selected, candidate must be able to attend INPRO 2013 in October. Details will follow
(Expenses including lodging, ground transportation and airfare within the US will be provided by NCAIED)
*Important: If selected and candidate is unable to attend, award will be forfeited.

INTERESTED STUDENTS SHOULD SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING:
(Incomplete packages will not be considered – so please ensure that you have all material submitted)
- Completed Application
- Official State or Federal Tribal enrollment document
- Personal Essay on the following (250 min-350 max words per category):
- Personal challenges you overcame in pursuit of higher education
- Community involvement
- Reason for pursuing higher education in business
- Business Related Experience (Paid or Volunteer)
- Plans following completion of degree program
- Activities and commitment to community to be considered
- Official Transcripts (sealed and signed)
- Official Letter of Admission/Enrollment for 2013-2014 academic year
- Copy of class schedule for Fall semester
APPLICATIONS WILL BE EVALUATED ON THE FOLLOWING:
- Grades (verified by transcripts) = 30%
- Community Involvement = 30%
- Personal Challenges = 25%
- Business Experience = 10%
- Quality of Essay = 5%
